Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed on drmohos.com (including the English pages at drmohos.com/en). The controller is committed to processing all personal data in accordance with this policy, the applicable Hungarian legislation and the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR). Personal data is treated confidentially and protected with appropriate technical and organizational measures.

Consultation request form

When you send a consultation request, we process the following data:

  • full name (required)
  • e-mail address (required)
  • country of residence (required)
  • phone number (optional)
  • condition: lymphedema, lipedema or not sure (required)
  • your message (required)

Purpose: to answer your enquiry and to arrange an online consultation.

Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Because the form may contain information about your health, we process this information only with your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the consent box. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@drmohos.com; this does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Retention: enquiries and the personal data they contain are deleted no later than one year after receipt, unless a longer period is required by law, for example once you become a patient and medical documentation rules apply.

Please do not send medical documents through the form. If records are needed, our reply explains how to share them securely.

E-mail

If you write to us directly by e-mail, we process your e-mail address, name and the content of your message for the purpose of answering you, on the basis of your consent. All e-mails, together with the personal data they contain, are deleted no later than one year after receipt.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files that a website stores on your device. This website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation, for example to keep the website secure and to make its functions work. These session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking.

Fonts and external content

Data security

The controller selects and operates the IT tools used to process personal data so that the data is available only to authorized persons, its authenticity and integrity are ensured, and it is protected against unauthorized access, alteration, transfer, disclosure, deletion or destruction, as well as accidental loss.

Under the GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right to information and access: you can ask whether we process your personal data and, if so, receive a copy and information about the purposes, categories, recipients, retention period and your rights.
  • Right to rectification: you can ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure: you can ask us to delete your data, for example if it is no longer needed for its purpose, you withdraw your consent, or it was processed unlawfully.
  • Right to restriction of processing in the cases defined by the GDPR.
  • Right to data portability: you can receive the data you provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object to processing in the cases defined by the GDPR.
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
